Four plates out of this kitchen

Four of the dishes people have photographed here. The pho is what reviewers write about most — chicken and beef both — along with the wonton noodle soup, the garlicky fried rice, the Sunday banh mi and the Vietnamese coffee.

The place

Under the walkway on Paramount Drive

Pho Bien sits at Unit 4/42 Paramount Drive, in a run of shops under a covered walkway, with the sign hanging out over the footpath — Phở Biên in red, 월남식당 beside it, Vietnamese Restaurant underneath. The window spells out most of the kitchen before you reach the door: pho, banh mi, beef, pork, seafood, noodles, rice, coffee. Through the glass door there is a timber counter, a round clock on the wall and a chalked HELLO on the dark panel beside the entrance. Doors open at 11am and the kitchen runs through to 9:20pm, every day of the week.

“My friend and I came to Pho Bien for brunch, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. I ordered the wonton noodle soup and was impressed by both the generous portion size and the quality of the dish. The broth was rich and flavourful, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavours felt authentic and well-balanced. Every bite was enjoyable and comforting. We left feeling completely satisfied and grateful for the excellent food and hospitality. As someone who lives in the area, I highly recommend Pho Bien for its hearty meals, authentic Vietnamese dishes, and excellent service. :)”

“Best vietnamese restanrant! Carefully crafted dishes, a cute café-style interior, and kind, welcoming staff — a true standout for Vietnamese cuisine. I’ve never had pho better than here. Honestly, everything on the menu is delicious. And you definitely have to try the Vietnamese coffee too!”

“A Time-Tested Gem: Found a Piece of Vietnam in the Heart of the City Having served the community since 2003, this place is clearly doing something right. The vibrant yellow interior instantly whisked me away to a cozy eatery in Vietnam, setting the stage for an incredible meal. I tried the Beef Pho, and it was genuinely unforgettable—a rich, comforting bowl that stands out from any other I’ve had. It's rare to find a spot where every single dish feels like a labor of love, but this place manages to deliver exactly that. One thing to note: their Sunday-exclusive Banh Mi is legendary for a reason. It often sells out quickly during lunch, so you’ll want to get there early. It’s an absolute standout and definitely worth a special trip.”
